It Started With a Milkshake When the Avengers thought back to the day of the Great Food Processer Incident, they now saw the whole day’s setup had really been tempting fate.  Steve and Natasha were on a mission in Japan, in an area with no technological connection to anyone.  Bruce was on at a science convention in Chicago, accompanied by Pepper, who had become the PA for all the Avengers, not just Tony.  Nick Fury and Agent Coulson had business in Shanghai.  Really, they should have seen it coming, but they didn’t. Issues on Asgard "Asgard?" "Asgard?" "Asgard!"  Thor was homesick, bottom line.  He loved Jane, Erik Selvig and the Avengers, but he missed the Warriors Five and Odin, and even Loki.  He also wanted his new friends to see his homeland and meet his Asgardian kin.  There was no talking him out of it.  He was going, and Bruce had formed a friendship with the god since they fought together in the Manhattan battle.  Tony was good friends with Bruce, and wasn't going to let his lab buddy go anywhere without him, so he was tagging along.  Steve had become somewhat attached to the Iron Man, and thought he should go along to keep an eye on him.
